This is a personal view of life as a volunteer working in the parkland at Croft Castle. It is not a National Trust promotion. I have always loved the British countryside and I want to help visitors to this extraordinary place to understand and be aware of what I and other volunteers do in restoring, conserving and maintaining the 1400 acres of parkland here in rural Herefordshire.
